Safety tips

Shop safely on DukaFiti:

• Pay the shop, not a person. Pay only to the shop's own till or paybill shown in your order, in cash at the shop, or pay on delivery. Use your order number as the reference.
• Never share your M-Pesa PIN. No shop or DukaFiti staff will ever ask for it. The "Pay with M-Pesa" button sends a prompt to your phone; you enter your PIN there only.
• Check the confirmation. A real order shows in My orders with its order number. Be careful with messages asking you to pay to a different number.
• Check goods on pickup or delivery before you pay cash, especially electronics.
• Meet at the shop. When collecting, go to the shop's address shown on its store page.
• Report problems. If a listing looks fake or a shop asks for unusual payments, tell us on the Contact us page.
